Fixed-Term Appointment up to 32 months
A vacancy has arisen for a Research Associate in the Centre for Synthetic Biology, under the supervision of Professor Richard Kitney and Dr Robert Dickinson. The postholders will work on the development of an advanced Synthetic Biology information system as part of a number of recently funded UK and European collaborative projects aimed at developing infrastructure and standards for the Synthetic Biology industry.
Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in medical or biological information systems or equivalent. Detailed experience of SQL and html programming is essential. Working knowledge of Synthetic Biology would be a significant advantage.
